hydrosun 750

The hydrosun 575, 750 and PhotoDyn 750 are professional quality medical devices, designed and manufactured in Germany.

Only through the filtering effect of the water in the atmosphere does the sun’s radiation lose its harmful impact enabling a diversity of growth. Without this filtering of the sun’s radiation by the atmosphere, absorption of this energy through the water molecules in the most superficial human skin layers would occur, which would result in a stinging and burning sensation. Intense overheating and rapid tissue dehydration would be the result.

Intended use

Classical applications of heat therapy: Muscular tension, strained muscles, musculoskeletal disorders, chronic inflammation, rheumatic diseases, pain syndrome, rheumatic disorders.

Water-filtered, infrared A (wIRA)light therapy: Wart therapy, photodynamic therapy, acne treatment, wound treatment to promote wound healing or to treat wound pain.

The hydrosun is also listed on the ARTG as a light source for photodynamic therapy (PDT).

Included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG Identifier 424530), Medical Device Included Class IIa, Infrared light therapy unit.

The hydrosun 750 can be used to provide infrared heat therapy to relieve pain and inflammation. Infrared therapy may also improve peripheral circulation. Can be used in conjucntion with physical therapies including massage.

Water filter

Nature provided the inspiration for the water filter used in the hydrosun 750: The hydrosun® irradiators have a patented, sealed liquid filter that enables them to replicate the combination of the sun and the moisture in the Earth‘s atmosphere. A water filter absorbs infrared light of those wavelengths that would otherwise present a thermal burden to the skin.

An important feature of water-filtered infrared-A (wIRA) is its ability to penetrate into deeper-lying tissues while at the same time being gentle to the skin, thus allowing the application of wIRA at higher intensities resulting in increased effectiveness.
